Chandaria Medical Clinic was Started on 12th June 2006 with the aim of  providing quality health services to employees of Uganda Baati Limited in a caring and competent environment. Along the way other companies have come to access health services from us and we have thus realized the need to

extend our services to the community around and Companies inclusive at subsidized rates. Some of the companies that access our medical services include:

Chandaria Medical Clinic is fully licensed, has a full time medical doctor, nurses, and a laboratory technician who comprise the medical team.

The clinic is open Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm and on Saturdays from 9:00am to 4:00 pm. Please screen through a range of services offered by the clinic:

1. Clinical services: Consultation with the doctor or specialist where necessary.
   Pediatric services
   We are now offering special clinics once a week for children and adults with disabilities
   Day time admissions whenever necessary.
   Prescribed laboratory tests
   Treatment, dressing or diagnostic tests etc.
2. Laboratory services: The clinic is well stocked with a variety of medical instruments for the level of a clinic facility. We perform a range of investigations such as; Blood film for malaria parasites, Blood  film report, Full blood count, Renal function tests, Liver function tests, Lipid profiles, Serum Electrolytes, Bone metabolism tests, Pancreatic amylase tests, Cardiac enzymes, Stool analysis, Urinalysis, Pus swabs, Sputum analysis, Blood grouping, Rheumatoid, Brucella antigen, Widal test, HIV serology, Random blood sugar, Fasting blood sugar levels, Glucose tolerance tests, TPHA, RPR, VDRL, Pregnancy test, and H. pylori test in case of peptic ulcer disease.
   We have a stocked pharmacy with a range of drugs and we purchase our drugs and other medical utilities from Joint Medical Stores - Nsambya.
3. Admission services: At the moment we are able to admit only day time cases and in case of longer admission periods we are able to refer a patient to other hospitals when need arises for example.   Incase of individual case consideration and referral this is done professionally. The clinic offers immunization services for children and pregnant mothers and tetanus immunization for any factory worker.

For specialized imaging services we send the patient to Kampala Imaging Center. Incase of needs to admit the patient we refer them to Mulago Hospital Private Wing, Nsambya Hospital , Mengo Hospital and Kibuli Hospital after contacting the doctor in the department concerned.

We have an occupational therapy and physiotherapy unit targeting children with all sorts of disabilities and factory workers who have developed disability as a result of their work or any other source. It is run by a qualified occupational therapist every Monday.
