Launch of the EYA 2009 Survey

The Federation of Uganda Employers launched the EYA 2009 Survey at a Breakfast on Tuesday 15th September 2009, at the Protea Hotel.

The EYA 2009 survey is to be conducted under the theme “HR Strategic alignment and Visibility: A link that unlocks enterprise performance.”

Following the good yields in the EYA 2008 survey, we have once again partnered with PILA Consultants and the Human Resource Manager’s Association of Uganda to conduct the EYA 2009 survey between September 2009 and March 2010.

Very few women in CEO positions and as members of boards in the corporate world
A mini survey carried out in December 2008 indicated that there are very few women in CEO positions and as members of boards in the corporate world. The survey covered the districts of Kampala, Mukono and Wakiso districts, where companies are concentrated.
